Description
This very rare species has a broad oval winding cross-section and is very wide forked. The clear, high keel is accompanied by narrow furrows. The ribs are short, low and few in number with wide spaces between them. They are radial and regular. They are roof-shaped and reach their greatest height near the outer side, where they go out. Found specimens are relatively small, up to 40mm in diameter.

Compare
Compared to Schreinbachites retroversicostatus, the typical irregularity of the ribbing is missing. There the ribs also bend strongly forward and merge into the secondary keels.
Compared to Schreinbachites ex gr. praecursor the ribs are lower and sharper and the Wb is even higher.
