Description
This very evolved species has ribs that curve forward and are quite coarse and wide.
The ribs meet on the external side.
The cross-section of the weave is much wider than it is high. The outer side is slightly angled, similar to Alsatites proaries.

Compare
At first sight, this very rare species looks like a somewhat coarsely ribbed specimen of Alsatites proaries (Neumayr). However, the very thick coil cross-section is characteristic of the species described by Lange.
